Acer shirasawanum ‘Ezo-no-momiji’ is a beautiful full moon Japanese maple with large rounded leaves that emerge bright green in the spring. These leaves then turn a darker green during the summer months. Both of these foliar colors contrast very nicely off of the light beige bark. ‘Ezo-no-momiji’ then turns a bright yellow to orange in the fall that really stands out. Acer shirasawanum ‘Ezo-no-momiji’ is a slow growing full moon Japanese maple that won’t get very tall.
