Acer palmatum ‘Sagara nishiki’ is a variegated Japanese maple with excellent yellow variegation splashed all over the foliage. The yellow variegation is more strongly concentrated along the edges of the leaves but there can be specks and splashes all over some leaves. The base color of this variegated tree is a light green in the spring and a darker green in the summer. Fall color is yellow to orange.
