This wonderful and very rare dissectum will become a conversation piece in any garden. White and pink variegation appears and puts on quite a show in early spring. The white variegation holds all summer. Fall color is orange and exceptional. The growth habit is very pendulous. Unfortunately 'Toyama nishiki' tends to revert to solid green. Great care must be taken first by the propagator to make sure only the most colorful branches are grafted and then by the gardener to make sure any branches with solid green leaves are removed.
