This cultivar really makes a statement in contrast with the green veins and green bark standing out against the predominately red surface of the leaves. Add these great characteristics to a growth habit that is slightly pendulous and mounding and you have a star in the garden. In spring leaves emerge cherry red then turn more brick red as late spring comes along and then olive green for summer. Fall color is a bright fiery red.
