Acer palmatum ‘Nicholsonii’ is a beautiful green Japanese maple with long, serrated leaves. Red samaras are commonly found on ‘Nicholsonii’ which contrasts wonderfully with the green leaves. Fall color is an excellent red. ‘Nicholsonii’ has a beautiful growing habit that is about as wide as it is tall.
