Hubb's Red Willow is a rich dark burgundy upright maple with long narrow lobes that are slightly incised, giving  this small tree a willowy delicate appearance. Looks can be deceiving. This maple is as tough as they come, 'Hubb's Red Willow' is one of the more heat tolerant maples of the linearilobum group even tolerating full sun in all but the hottest climates. Very vigorous and vase shaped when young it slows down with age forming a beautiful round topped small tree. Fall color comes with an onslaught of fiery oranges and reds.
