Acer japonicum ‘Attaryi’

‘Attryi is very similar to 'Aconitifolium' except that the leaves are a little larger and not as deeply cut. 'Attaryi' is a very fine small to medium sized maple. While growing slowly and needing some protection from sun and drying winds especially in hotter climates, 'Attaryi' matures into a beautiful, round topped tree eventually becoming about as wide as it is tall. Also a nice touch are the very pretty small blooms displayed in early spring. Fall color is a striking brilliant red, with yellow and orange.
