Acer shirasawanum ‘Aureum’ emerges in the spring with lime green foliage. These bright green leaves are in the traditional shape and size of the full moon maples. The lime green turns to a yellowish green in summer before changing to a vibrant orange in the fall. ‘Aureum’ is a slow growing tree that will only reach about 7 feet tall in ten years.
