This cool little tree has very odd shapes leaves with dissected lobes that are separated all the way to the petiole, Some lobes are so dissected that it looks like the lobes have lobes. Emerging light almost yellow green in spring the foliage turns dark green by summer. Fall color is red,The Japanese name means lonely person.
