Acer palmatum ‘Tsuri nishiki’ is a medium size, upright growing Japanese maple with unusually shaped broad leaves. ‘Tsuri nishiki’ has large, deeply divided leaves that typically grow fairly close together. Leaves of ‘Tsuri nishiki’ emerge pink in early spring before quickly transitioning to an attractive dark green. ‘Tsuri nishiki’ will then have pink new growth scattered across the tree throughout the year. Fall color is then an amazing bright, fiery orange-red. ‘Tsuri nishiki’ will form a nice round-topped tree at maturity.
