In early spring this is one of the brightest plants in the garden with cherry red foliage. Turning green quickly as temperatures rise, patience is rewarded in summer with bright red secondary growth. Fall color is orange and red. While 'Shin deshojo' will tolerate full sun it prefers partial shade in warmer climates.
