Acer palmatum ‘Relish’ is a rare green on green variegated variety of Japanese maple. The leaves on Relish have light green margins on top of darker green, more prominent foliage. The variegation on the leaves of ‘Relish’ go through several transitional color changes throughout the year. By fall, ‘Relish’ turns bright yellow and then eventually orange. ‘Relish’ grows into a nice, vase shaped tree that shouldn't exceed eight feet at maturity.
