Acer japonicum ‘Taki no gawa’

Acer japonicum ‘Taki no gawa’ is a full moon Japanese maple with huge leaves. These leaves emerge lime green in the spring with small red flowers. The large leaves then turn a dark green for most of the summer. ‘Taki no gawa’ then puts on a show in the fall with orange to bright red fall color. ‘Taki no gawa’ is a smaller growing full moon Japanese maple that is quite unique with its huge leaves.
